It was my last day off. We did activities and in the afternoon we had a sports day. It was a competition between teams ( Long jump, three leg race, penalties and so on) . Our faces were colored in different colors, colors of the team. Our team didn't win.
The first week in Qwood was the same for me I think. I think I've learnt nothing there, cuz I came here only to improve my speaking. Useful things - excursion to the TBM and SM. I want nothing to be different. everything is ok. Goals: I want to pack my bag and survive there for 4 more days.

museums

Thursday. We went to TBM( The British museum ) and to SM ( Science Museum )
It was nice and quite. I took lots of pictures of the Medieval times , ancient China and so on. Then we went to the Science museum, it was much better then TBM, because I like mechanisms and technique.

I went to Canterbury this Saturday. We listened to some stories about this place in the museum of Canterbury and then we had some free-time for shopping. It was boring, because I need nothing to buy.

Saturday morning we went to the Canterbury. We went to the museum, where they told us some stories about that place. Stories were really nice. Then we had 3h for shopping. It was boring, because I need nothing to buy in England, it I was too lazy to look for smth there.
The rest of the day was ok.

1) I had been using these programms before, so it was just a nice relaxation for me, to work in them.
2) Dunno, I never use blogs in Russia, so I think it was not really important, and so I think it wasn't really valuable.
3) Well, I didn't learn any new words there, but I think Speaking skill impoved.
4) I don't know. But I think so.

Sightseeing in London

Yesterday all seniors went to London to enjoy seeing the beautiful sights of the capital, At first we were waiting for the Changing of the Guard in front of the Buckingham Palace. It was really impressively that you could do everything but the Guard were keeping a straight face. After that we walked to the Trafalgar Square to look at the famous Nelson Column. A few minutes later we had a view on the Big Ben and shortly after we spent our time on a ship to behold the sights near the river Thames. (London Eye, Tower of London, Tower Bridge...) It was a wonderful trip to get a general idea of the capital London in England.

Madame Tussauds

Last Thursday I and theother seniors went to London and visited the famous museum Madame Tussauds. We had two hour to experiences the exciting place. I was so fascinated when I saw my favourite actor, Johnny Depp. I could not believe that all figures of wax look so real. Every year they change celebrity so it is never boring.I suppose a trip to Madame Tussauds is an experience that I will niever forget.

Cambridge excursion

Cambridge.
Last Saturday I went to Cambridge, a little city, like Oxford, they are almost the same. Narrow streets, old buildings and etc.
We went to boat entertainment. It was nice.
Then we had to walk to an office, to start there a stupid game, it was about to find many clues in the historical part of the city, to make it easier to win the last part of this game.
My group did nothing, so I had to random on buttons in the last tour.
After we got shopping time, I bought ear-phones, and then it turned out that my credit card was blocked. fortunately I had some cash to pay for my new phones.
I also went to the cafe, and had a cup of tea there, before going back to the meeting point at 4 o'clock.

Cambridge

On Saturday the whole organisation did an excursion to the town Cambridge. There we drove on boats and a lot of times we crashed together. Afterwards we had to do another type of mystery where we had to go around the town to answer questions. Then we could go shopping. We tried to find some stuff in little shops but there we did not find some things. So we went to the big shops where everyone bought a T-shirt, a necklace or an accessory. I bought a nice blue top and a beautiful turquoise necklace and some souvenirs for my family. After this I wrote post cards and sent them.

Our Trip to Cambridge

On Saturday all students went to the wonderful town, Cambridge.

At first we spent our time on a canoe and had the possibility to see historical buildings.

After that we walked to the centre of the town, market square. We had to do a quiz for that we searched after dates of famous persons and sights.

Afterwards we had free time to enjoy going shopping in the beautiful different shops. I looked forward to buy some sweats at the market and to eat fresh fruits. At five o'clock we arrived very tired back to Queenswood.

In the evening we had fun at the disco in the dining hall but I prefer to dance to another kind of music but it was quiet great for a school event.

Before I went to my bedroom, I enjoyed to lie on the grass and only to relax the evening.

I'm glad to do the journey because it was a successful excursion.

hi i am conny and now i write my first message on this blog

The last day: I woke up very early and went to breakfast. Then a lot of lessons followed. On the evening I had sports activitis. I decided to play tennis because I thought that the girls here could play tennis. But they couldn't. They only made fun of it. I found this very stupid because I am learning to play tennis since one week and I want to play it right. So it was very boring for me. At ten o'clock I went to the bathroom to have a shower. On the day before yesterday the bathroom only had very cold water. But yesterday it was different. Warm water came out of the shower. This was a very positive and great experience. I am so happy because of the warm water. Tomorrow we have an excursion to the Madame Tussauds museum

Die Hard 4.0

Yesterday evening, I was watching Die Hard 4.0 . Actually I had watched it before in Russia. But I didn't want to stay in the residence doing activities. So i decided to kill my time by watching this action film )
I'll tell what this film was about.
The plot is about a man ( Bruce Willis) who saves America. It is just a simple American action movie.
Some terrorists-hackers trying to destroy America, Bruce Willis kills them and saves the economy of the country. The one hacker survives and helps John ( Bruce Willis) to find terrorists and stop them.
It is better than Die Hard 2 and Die Hard 3. There are more special effects, more gripping moments, more action scenes. The film is worth seeing.
After that I came back to my house, went upstairs to my room and fell asleep.

Yesterday I did not like to go on excursion therefore I stayed with my friends at Queenswood.

We could choose between different activities. I took tennis because I really enjoy this kind of sport.=)

I was quite surprised since I could not believe that there are so many tennis-courts.

After we had a lot of fun we went back to our rooms to have a chat.

We were so tired so we slept very early.
